Accumulation

The Functionality of an accumulation table is generally for the purposes of product terminus or collection and product buffer of delay. In either scenario it is of upmost importance that your product remains unscathed, and our rotary accumulation tables can provide that protection.

Lite Series conveyors, LP Series conveyors and Transfer-Station equipped Rotary Table Accumulators can be used singly or in combination to meet these operational requirements.

Product collection functions of an accumulation table can include shipping, packaging, and similar activities at an end station on the line as well as a staging point for the next step in the production process, possibly moving on to one a small conveyor. Commonly, a powered conveyor is equipped with low-friction belting, yet the customer may select any other belting that best suits the application. Product collection scenarios also include unattended machine operation during business hours, or lights-out operation after business hours. There’s often an additional need to protect completed product so it’s not damaged while it accumulates.

In temporary buffering or surge control scenarios, product can continue to feed into a diversionary small conveyor or area of a conveyor. This is useful when the main line stops intermittently, when product needs to divert to a workstation on a small conveyor for separate actions, or when product delay is needed to prepare downstream operations to receive product.

Production lines with upstream bottlenecks can produce at their capacity uninterrupted while products pause on mini mover accumulation tables and allow downstream production to catch up. This can help to reduce costs caused from idle time.

Transfer-Station equipped Rotary Table Accumulators, Lite Series conveyors and LP Series mini mover conveyors can be used singly or in combination to meet these operational requirements.
